What personal data this website collects, why, and what happens to it.
Who is responsible
AksaTechs, based in Kosovo, is the data controller for this website. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to [email protected].
What we collect
This website collects personal data in one place only: the contact form. Page-view statistics are also recorded, but without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you — see the Cookie Notice for exactly what that means. When you submit it we store the name, email address and message you provide, and the phone number and company name if you choose to give them.
We also record which page the enquiry came from and which language you were reading in, so we can reply appropriately.
Your IP address is never stored. It is converted to an irreversible SHA-256 hash used solely to enforce the rate limit that stops the form being abused. The hash cannot be turned back into your address.
The form contains a hidden field that people never see. Anything typed into it is treated as automated spam and discarded without being stored.
Why we may process it
We process contact-form data on the basis of your consent, given by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
Who sees it
Enquiries are readable only by the AksaTechs staff who hold an account on our administration console, which sits behind authentication.
When a mail server is configured, a copy of the enquiry is also sent to our own company address so it is not missed.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or any third party for their own purposes.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Data is held in a Microsoft SQL Server database on our own infrastructure in Europe. It is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and deleted when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you, and receive a copy
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- object to or restrict how we process it
- withdraw consent at any time
- complain to your national data protection authority
