DBA Experts
SQL Server specialists led by a senior DBA with a team behind them — health checks, ongoing database support, performance tuning, high availability and migrations.
Every product we ship runs on Microsoft SQL Server, so database administration is not a sideline for us — it is the discipline our own systems depend on. Your databases are looked after by a senior DBA with a team behind them, so the work does not depend on one person being available.
There are three ways to work with us. A database health check has a fixed scope: a full review of configuration, indexing, backup posture and security, delivered as a report with prioritised recommendations. Ongoing database support means a named DBA responsible for your servers — checking backups, jobs, growth and performance on a regular basis, and the person you call when something goes wrong. Project work covers one specific goal, such as speeding up a slow system, upgrading a version or moving to a new server.
Typical work: finding out why a report that used to take two seconds now takes ninety, designing an index strategy that does not slow down writes, setting up backups that have actually been tested by restoring them, configuring Always On availability groups, planning a version upgrade without a weekend of downtime, and migrating data between systems without losing history.
We usually suggest starting with a health check: it shows the real state of your databases and gives you a prioritised list to act on, with us or without us.
